The Africana Veldt Pendant – Bush is a beautifully sculptural pendant light created through a collaboration with Ark Workshop, combining traditional forms, natural materials and contemporary craftsmanship.

Featuring layered woven forms and a warm wooden detail at its centre, this pendant creates an eye-catching silhouette while maintaining a sense of understated elegance. The carefully woven cotton yarn allows light to filter through the shade, creating warmth and texture when illuminated.

Each pendant begins with a steel frame that is hand bent and welded locally, before being powder coated to create a durable, professional finish. The frame is then individually wrapped by hand using 100% locally sourced cotton yarn, which is hand dyed to create its distinctive Bush colourway.

The result is a statement lighting piece that feels both sophisticated and organic. Its generous 500 mm diameter makes it particularly suited to dining rooms, living spaces and larger areas where a sculptural pendant can become a focal point.
